The conversation menu: report, close, block

For everyone

Every thread's header carries a ⋮ menu — "Conversation options" — with three doors: Report, Close, and Block.

Report

Reporting opens the Trust & safety form: "The trust team can see the conversation you're reporting. ⁨The other side⁩ won't be told who reported them." Pick what's wrong — Fraud or scam, Harassment, Unsafe practice, Misleading pay, Impersonation, Privacy violation, Discrimination, Spam, or Other — add details, and Submit report. "Every report opens a moderation case reviewed by a person. You'll get an update either way."

Close

Ends the conversation for both sides, immediately — "✓ Conversation closed." The thread stays in both message lists marked Closed, and inside it says simply: "This conversation is closed. No new messages can be sent." Nothing else changes — no block, no report.

Block

The strongest door — it acts immediately. See the block article for exactly what it does and doesn't do.

Blocking is one click with no confirmation, and a thread ended by a block does not reopen even if you unblock later.
