Why can't I find someone in search?

Search visibility has owners on both sides, and each has a switch.

A company can't find a professional

Your company isn't verified yet — talent search itself is locked until a person on the 360Loads team approves your DOT/MC records: "Professionals share their profiles with verified companies only."
The professional paused their discovery — pausing removes a profile from every company's results instantly, and it's their right.
They hid their profile from your company specifically — "They aren't told, and can't see or invite you" — also their right, and invisible to you by design.
One of you blocked the other — a block "removes you both from each other's search results."

Filters are hiding it — set them back to "Any" and search by name on the Companies tab.
"Verified only" is on and the company isn't verified.

Professionals: your own visibility state is one glance away — Settings → Discovery reads Live or Paused per profile.
