Closing your account is real deletion, on a timer you control for 30 days.

1. Open Settings → Your account → Download & delete, and under "Close your account" click Delete account ("Deactivates your account immediately and schedules it for destruction").
2. Answer the one exit question if you're willing — "This goes to 360Loads only. It is never shown to anyone else on the platform." — and click Continue.
3. Read the "What happens next" screen. It makes three promises worth reading slowly:
4. "You have 30 days to change your mind — Sign in with your password before the window runs out and your account comes back. That date is set the moment you confirm and we do not move it afterwards."
5. "Some things go the moment you confirm — Your profile details, your work history, and your place on any team — those do not come back even if you cancel the deletion."
6. "A few records outlive the account — Audit records, moderation complaints, and messages already delivered to other people. See /privacy for the exact list."
7. Type your email exactly as it appears on your account, and click Delete my account — or Keep my account to stop.

What happens next

You're signed out everywhere, with "Your account has been deactivated and queued for deletion. Some records are retained for safety and legal reasons." After 30 days without a sign-in, destruction is permanent.

Common problems

• "Type your account email exactly to confirm deletion." — the email you typed doesn't match the account's. Nothing was deleted; correct it and try again, or step away with Keep my account.
• Consider clicking Download first — the export is unavailable once the account is gone.
